Harbour + Flamingo Resort

The Flamingo Resort recently debuted a whole new look — and we’re thrilled to be part of their mix of mid-century and modern. A Sonoma wine country icon, this tucked-away oasis features all-natural materials and angular silhouettes originally designed by architect Homer A. Rissman (who also designed the entire Las Vegas strip).

Sprinkle in immersive wellbeing and outdoor experiences on an incomparable 10-acre retreat, and you’ve got the ultimate escape. Nestled in the Valley of the Moon, the Flamingo Resort calls Sonoma’s largest city home — Santa Rosa’s own Shangri-La. Just beyond the lush campus you’ll find more than 425 wineries to — clink! — enjoy, paired with homegrown eateries and acclaimed restaurants, including more than a few with a Michelin star… or three.

Built in 1957 and renovated in 2021 by WEDDLE GILMORE Black Rock Studio and BAR Interiors with purchasing by Bray Whaler, the new resort is a comprehensive reimagining that beautifully blends mid-century architecture with a fresh modern design. The redesign has been turning heads, and was awarded in Sunset magazine’s 2021 Travel Awards: Rad Hotel Redesigns. The number-one draw – besides the neon-pink flamingo-topped entrance tower that’s been a historical landmark since ‘97 – is the showstopping central pool.

Our streamlined Pacific Stacking Sun Lounges paired with poolside dining service create a truly luxurious experience. Love their new vibe? Bring some Flamingo luxury home — add our Pacific loungers to your outdoor space, and perhaps a splash of neon if you’re feeling bold.
